Senegal’s first member-only space for women to work, grow and unwind.
A swanky co-working hub meets a members-only club, The Third’s mission is to connect the great women of Dakar in a lavish yet welcoming setting. Combining amenities such as a women-author-only curated library, multiple conference rooms and a full-on lounge space with luxuries the likes of a fine dining area with an in-house chef, guests suites for overnight stays and even a fashion boutique with an assortment of female artisan-made goods, the list of activities to do at The Third keeps on rolling. However, its heart lies in creating networking opportunities, encouraging collaboration and empowering Dakar’s women to mingle.
Tapping into the client’s Senegalese legacy, we’ve created a key visual and an assortment of graphic design that slightly evokes the country’s rich heritage, all the while remaining timelessly elegant in line with the club’s classic, pastel-shaded interiors. Our main touchpoint was the strong, immediately identifiable logo that echoes a robust female figure.
Further endorsing the client’s female empowerment ethos is a set of illustrations in the style of traditional paper cut-out patterns and irregular shapes informed by Senegal’s lush nature and the country’s abundantly printed fabrics. Nodding towards The Third’s comfortable interiors and brand values, the typography used in the brand mark riffs on elegant proportions and womanly curvatures, at the same time maintaining a warm & welcoming sensibility throughout.
